Is there a home remedy for acne scars or do I have to have sugery to have perfect skin?

I’ve been struggling with Acne for many, many, many years and I’m and adult now and although I haven’t been breaking out much I have acne scars. I was considering cosmetic surgery but I don’t have the money and I’m afraid. Any suggestions.
