How do you get rid of body acne once and for all?

I have acne on my chest and my back. I’ve done everything to try and get rid of it! I’m using an acne body wash exfoliater, I use a powerful acne foam wash, I’ve been using on-spot treatment creams, facial deep cleaning pads, even taking prescribed acne medication! It wont go away!

I’ve heard tanning really helps get rid of it. Should I try going to a tanning salon? Although I’m a guy, I’m willing to, and I’m sure one time wouldn’t give me skin cancer.
