i’ve been on accutane for 4 months, it’s been working pretty well for me, still have a couple months to go

i had the same problem as you with my doctor in the UK… until i got deferred to a derma who put me on it… really does wonders gives u your confidence back

i know what your going through, i have had acne every sence i was 9. i got my first breakout in 4th grade.

Hi! Thank you so much for making this video. In about a month I am going to go to my doctor and ask about accutane. Ok so I have two questions.
1) Did your skin get better before it got worse?
2) How long did it take for you to see results? -

I was on accutane when I was eleven and it was majorly suvere. Now I’m fifteen and my skin looks great! I didn’t need to go on the pill because I was only eleven and it was before I went through puberty.

I am on accutane, and my dermatologist isn’t making me take any sort of brith control. they just told me not to have sex. but, im only 14 so, its not a problem. hah, its almost 2 months now, and its helped so much.

hey girl i thoght id let u knw about a cream i use to help get rid of my spot marks lol its quite expensive but it works for me- its called shiseido super revitaliser whitening formula. its not a whitening cream or anything but i have marks on my face from spots that have bin there for over a year and i noticed after 3 months of using it every night they do fade alot. im plannin on gettin some more of this after im done with the tane lol hope this helps

I’m south asian so I may be a little more pigmented then you are. I actually have quite a few scars from when I was younger and couldn’t keep from touching them. Most of them are fading now but it’s slow which is why I still wear foundation and concealer.
I honestly never paid attention to my moisturisers or cleansers (though my dermatologist said I should). I mostly stick with St. Ives products because I find they work for me.

hey thnk u for the vid im going to start soon and im bloody terrified! are u asian? cus i am and im worried my skin myt get scarrd cus it pigments so easily, also i wanted to ask if u use oil free moisturisers/cleansers etc. cus ppl are tellin me to do this bt i dnt knw if its guna mke ne diffrence? xxxxxxxxx

Thanks for cleating up on that whole side effects thing! =D Jus cuz 1 person killed himself on accutane dosnt mean anyone will im sure the kid was messed up to start with

It can be, I think it was 40 something a box for my total of 50g. But that’s Canadian.
